Description

At magnitude 7.3 on March 21, 2024 it was not that bright and not very big...but I got something after a stack of 2 min photos x47, 1hr 34m total.
Rising almost directly in the east, I drove east of Phoenix at 2 a.m. after scouting the area earlier in the afternoon. This is about an hour drive out of town. With a 3/4 moon setting, the sky wasn't very dark, plus Phoenix Bortle 9 and burbs not far away.

March 21, 2024. 4 Peaks, east of Phoenix, Arizona.
Comet: Esprit 80mm, QHY268C, 2min X 47 = 1hr 34m integration.
Foreground: Canon 6D, 214mm, f10, ISO 100, 1,000 sec.
